Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW) stripped upper receivers are built to the tightest tolerances while remaining compatible with Mil-Spec parts and other upper receivers. This precision ensures there is no wobble between receivers, which can negatively affect accuracy, making these stripped AR-15 upper receivers an ideal starting point for your next build. Forged from high-strength, crack-resistant 7075-T6 aluminum (which is also lighter than 6061) each receiver undergoes a final machining process to remove flash marks and refine the tolerances beyond Mil-Spec standards. They are then finished with a matte black Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodized coating for enhanced corrosion and wear resistance.
